3 Reasons Why Autumn Is A Good Time To Refinance

Why Fall 🍂 is a good time to refinance 👇

One reason specific to this season:

1️⃣ Additional costs for this time of year…
… Back to school, extra curriculars, home maintenance before the winter, Halloween, Christmas season coming

Typically, this time of the year is the most expensive, especially for families.

And that’s why many people #refinance in the Fall to get access to their #homeequity to cover those expenses. Which leads me to another reason to refinance:

2️⃣ Debt consolidation
Putting those expenses onto high-interest accounts like credit cards and lines of credit can lead to spending way more than you should.

Debt piles up. Interest builds. And then you’re struggling month to month, just paying minimum payments. 💸🤕

Put those high-interest accounts into your (much) lower mortgage!

We’re talking about 4-5% interest instead of 20% like it is on your credit card.

3️⃣ And perhaps the last reason I’ll mention:
What are your 2025 plans? Are you anticipating a move? Is your current mortgage term up for renewal? Perhaps you’ve got equity saved and want access to it. Or you want to take advantage of the lower housing prices and rate cuts.

Refinancing now can set you up for all of that. ✔️

It really does depend on what situation you’re currently in and what your goals are over the next 1-2 years.

➡️ Refinancing can make a lot of sense. It can save you a lot of money in the long run. It can also help you build wealth. But it can also make more sense to wait.
